• Foliage (e/d, color, texture): Evergreen, blue-green, coarse texture
• Flowers (color & season): Orange –red spikes.  Winter to spring
• Comments (litter, thorns, allergenic): Low litter, sharp tips
• Special Features (wildlife, other): Showy candelabra-shaped flower spikes, attract hummingbirds
