SCOTTSDALE — A crowd of nearly 400 packed the ballroom at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia Thursday, Sept. 14 to honor Arizona’s Most Admired Companies of 2017.

“We built the program to recognize those companies that have the biggest impact on the economy, on their employees and on the communities in which they do business,” said Cheryl Green, publisher of AZ Big Media. “Arizona is filled with great servant leaders, innovators and forward thinkers. This year’s MAC recipients embody those qualities.”

Caretaker Landscape and Tree Management was honored to be included on this list of elite companies.  We are so proud of our team and it’s accomplishments and we love that our stand out trait was Education!  

While all 46 companies honored are winners, there were also five Spotlight Awards given to those companies that have shown exceptional achievement in each of six special categories. The Spotlight Award winners were:

Social responsibility: CopperPoint Insurance Company
Customer opinion: UnitedHealthcare
Healthy workplace: USAA

Helping to make the Most Admired Companies event a success were presenting sponsors CopperPoint Mutual Insurance Company and the hospitals of Dignity Health — Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center. The event sponsors were Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Charles Schwab and Progrexion. In addition, Washington Federal was the dessert spnsor, the photo booth was sponsored by USAA, the promotional sponsor was Maricopa Community Colleges and Merestone produced the videos.
