Matthew D. White, CAAM, MBA

Matthew is President, CEO, and co-owner of Caretaker Companies and is a founder and past President and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association of Community Managers, AACMÔ. Matt is the past Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee of AACMÔ which, in 2005, created the first ever Arizona specific certification for Community Association Managers called the Certified Arizona Association Manager (CAAMÔ). He co-wrote and teaches Ethics for Community Management and Basics of Association Management, two core courses related to the CAAM certification. He is the past Chair of the Legislative Committee, which is responsible for assisting State Legislators in creating viable community association legislation. Matt also teaches classes for the CDLP program at the Desert Botanical Gardens. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Accounting and Political Science from the University of Arizona and has obtained his MBA in E-Business and has completed the Master Gardner program.
Jim Potts, CLP, CDLP, QP, MG, ACPA, CTP, Horticulturist and Certified Arborist, Certified Turf-grass Professional, Certified Water Auditor, and ALCA’s 33rd Annual Landscape Contractor of the Year

Jim is the Vice President of Landscape Management at Caretaker Landscape and Tree Management, with over 20 years of landscape supervision experience. He has extensive training and understanding of all desert landscape plant material, irrigation systems and pump stations. He teaches and tests other landscape personnel seeking to achieve their CLP designation for the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association as well as being a volunteer instructor at the Arizona Botanical Gardens and the FFA Horticulture Program. Jim has over 10 professional horticulture designations.
Tom Brownlee, Horticulturist, ACPA

Tom is Caretaker’s Operations Manager, with over 30 years of landscape maintenance management and customer service experience. He specializes in large scale HOA and commercial contract management, including, contract negotiations, Board meetings, safety management, scheduling and logistics. Tom has undergone training in the areas of landscape maintenance, gardening, pest control, and dust control compliance, and has a degree in Ornamental Horticulture.
Juan Gomez, CLP, CDLP, ABPA, Certified Arborist

Juan is the Director of Tree Management at Caretaker. He has over 16 years experience in the landscape/tree management industry and over 11 years experience with Caretaker as a Supervisor, Account Manager and now as Director of Tree Services. From consultations to tree removal, Juan has provided both property managers and individual homeowners with professional arbor care services. He has over 10 years of experience with the Gilbert Public School system supervising the irrigation repairs for an 800-acre community in Gilbert.
Fred Drysdale

Fred joined the Caretaker team three years ago as Director of our Handyman Services Division. With over 37 years in the industry, Fred has extensive knowledge and a broad set of skills for tackling repairs and minor home improvements.
Patrick Lynch, CLP, Certified Irrigator, Commercial Pesticide Applicator, Commercial Weed Control Technician

Patrick is an Account Manager working out of our East Valley office. He has over 27 years of experience in horticulture. Pat ran The Sun Lakes II Master association before joining the Caretaker team.
Anthony Luciano, CLP, CDLP, Certified Irrigator, Commercial Pesticide Applicator, Commercial Weed Control Technician

Anthony is an Account Manager, working out of our West Valley office, with over 15 years of experience in horticulture. Originally from Ohio, Anthony worked for 8 years in landscape construction before making the move to the landscape management field. Anthony holds an Associates Degree in Computer Aided Design.
Damian Benard, ACPA

Damian is an Account Manager with over 5 years of experience in landscape construction and maintenance. Working alongside property managers and HOA Board members, he has managed numerous large-scale communities providing the high level of service they expect from landscape professionals. Damian is a licensed applicator with B3 and B5 certifications.
Shannon Pochert

Shannon is the Business Development Manager at Caretaker focusing on the Homeowner Association Industry. She has over 4 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and public relations. She moved to Arizona in 2003 and graduated with a Degree from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at Arizona State University. Shannon is a member of the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM), Community Associations Institute (CAI), and is part of the AACM Events Committee. She is currently studying plants and maintenance practices of the Southwest Desert.
Samantha Saia

Samantha is the Business Development Manager focusing on the Homeowner Association Industry. She joins Caretaker with over 4 years of experience in sales and marketing. Samantha graduated with a Degree from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at Arizona State University. She is a member of the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM), Community Associations Institute (CAI), and is part of the AACM Outreach Committee. She is currently studying plants and maintenance practices of the Southwest Desert.
Mischelle Arreca

Mischelle is the Business Development Manager for the Commercial Properties Industry. Mischelle joins the team with over 10 years experience in sales and marketing. She found her affection for the desert when she moved from California to Arizona. Mischelle is a member of Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA), Arizona Multi-Housing Association (AMA) and Valley Hotel & Resort Association (VH&RA). Mischelle is a member of BOMA Young Professionals Group, BOMA Government Affairs Committee, BOMA TOBY Awards Committee, BOMA Associates Committee and AMA Networking Committee. Mischelle is currently studying plants and maintenance practices of the Southwest Desert.
Bobbie Haws, MG

Bobbie is Caretaker’s Office Manager overseeing our day to day Accounting operations. She is a Nex Level Business Graduate from Northland Pioneer College, and has over 15 years of Administrative experience. She holds a Master Gardener Certificate and is in the process of obtaining her CLP certification. Bobbie was Caretaker’s 2009 Employee of the Year!
Cara Slotarski

Cara joined Caretaker in 2009 as a Receptionist. Since then, she has expanded her role to take on more responsibilities including Accounts Receivable and assisting with other accounting duties. She is currently working on a Degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University.
